First of all we'like to thank Tracy and Ian for being excellent hosts.Also, we would like to thank them for letting us check in even though it was not time for check in yet.Parking right outside the hotel.Rooms are very cleaned and comfortable.Breakfast was excellent with many choices.It is close to Tramway, cable car, shops and restaurants.Also very near to Promanade and Pier.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again.Highly recommended.Many Thanks to Tracy and Ian. x

From start to finish and everything in between was perfect,Tracy & Ian are lovely went out of their way when we arrived. They met us out side and moved there own car so we could park out side the hotel.We stayed in the suite with 2 separate bedrooms and a bathroom and all rooms was perfect, with fantastic views from both bedrooms, And the breakfast and service of the breakfast was fantastic we really couldn’t have asked for anything more Thankyou very much for a great stay

Lovely friendly guest house, breakfast amazing and kept us full all day. Nothing was too much trouble, our 10year old granddaughter is a bit fussy but Tracey accommodated her appetite with cheesy beans on toast! The bed was really comfortable, the room was exceptionally clean, the shower was great, we stayed in room 4. we will definitely be staying again. We recommend 100% for cleanliness, location and breakfast.

I stay at the Hen-Dy twice a year for four or five days and have done so for a number of years. The Hotel is clean and well kept. Ian an Tracey are perfect hosts and nothing is to much trouble for them. The breakfasts are to die for. Looking forward to my next stay in February.

We booked into the Hen Dy for two nights and from booking to leaving Tracey and Ian were superb hosts.The location is excellent. The rooms are lovely and clean, stocked well with tea and coffee. We had two peaceful nights sleep.The cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious with plenty of choice, Tracey is very attentive in the dining room. We would book the Hen Dybefore booking anywhere else if we come back for a stay inLLandudno.

Stayed at the hen-dy for 2 nights and I can’t fault it at all, welcoming hosts that go above and beyond, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable room with a fantastic view! Breakfast was perfect and had great choice to keep fussy kids happy, would 100% stay again.

From the minute we walked through the door we felt so welcomed although we were only on a short break.The room had a sea view and although small it was perfect . It was clean the bed comfortable and we had all we needed. We booked breakfast for 9am and the service was perfect . Tracey even remembered my order the next day. I booked the Hen-Dy for a weekend birthday treat for my wife & my older sister because of its location as I had booked into a nearby Lovely restaurant for a birthday meal there is No parking available but there is pay & display nearby butbefore our arrival Ian & Tracey emailed me to say they had a parking space available for me which was brilliant. When we arrived we where greeted by both Ian & Tracey who kindly took our bags of us & put them outside our room which was a nice touch.Our room was Lovely & clean & spacious as was the whole hotel. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of tea & coffee to go with it, there is also an Honesty bar in the front sitting room for drinks & snacks which we took advantage of & had a nice bottle of wine in the evening sitting outside on the small terrace. Ian & Tracey are very friendly & down to earth people who made are stay in Llandudno enjoyable & we will definitely come back when visiting Llandudno.Many Thanks see you soon Stephen Julie & Mary, xx

We reluctantly came home yesterday , it’s our 5th year running staying at this little gemThe views are to die for and the rooms are comfy and have everything you need. Soft white towels and bedding , fans which I needed !Our rooms 2 and 3 overlookthe bay on the first floor , highly recommendIan and Stacey are perfect hosts and nothing is too much troubleThe breakfasts are yummy and set us for the dayThere’s a patio at the front , where you can sit and chat, an honesty bar , with every drink you might like, a lounge if you prefer to be inside .We used the patio and the bar a lot as my friends aren’t up to walking far and don’t like noisy pubs . If you do it’s a short walk to them and the shopsSeveral good restaurants very near by too.The pier is short walk also The Great Orme with cable carsHope I haven’t forgotten any thing , missing it already !!Roll on next year 🤞🤞🤞

I was made very welcome when i first arrived . My room wss lovely beds where very comfortanle. Breavkfast was very tasty and they canteredfor vegetarians. Had a lovely 3 days at the hen dy Tracey and Ian are very welcoming and friendly .Our room for 3 adults was a good size and had a lovely modern bathroom .Had plenty of choice at breakfast including soya milk but the 1 hour time slot was a bit of a squeeze at breakfast .The hotel is in the best spot for visiting llandudno and amazing value .

Hen Dy is an absolutely stunning B&B, the location is fantastic and just a short walk to fab bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and attractions. The sea views from our room were amazing and the bed was so comfortable and the room was very clean. The door on the shower did take a little bit of patience to keep closed (as the magnetic strip seemed a bit worn) but it was manageable. Ian and Tracey were very lovely hosts, really friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and I would definitely recommend purchasing this with the room together. The produce was Welsh and locally sourced, which is fantastic to us!

After staying in a number of B&Bs in Llandudno. We have concluded that this is by far our favourite B&B. Spotlessly clean comfortable very high standard for breakfast ingredients which are cooked and presented to a 5 star standard. Ian & Tracey are hard working host’s with high stands which you can see from moment you enter yet still remain friendly approachable and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back again.

My partner and i stayed for 3 nights and found the whole experience extremely satisfying. Tracy and Ian are great friendly hosts and made our stay very pleasurable. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Our room no 3 was large, well appointed, with a very comfortable king sized bed and the bathroom was generously sized with a good shower. The hotel is spotless clean everywhere. We found the breakfastwas extremely tasty and choice was good, catering for everyone, either hot or cold breakfast. As for the hotel position next to seafront, its brilliant and easy access to the town. We enjoyed our stay so much, we have booked another short break in a few months time, before we left.

We visited the city at the invitation of our friends who got married. We had a great stay at the hotel, the room where we were accommodated was large with everything we needed in it. It was clean everywhere. The staff is very kind. Breakfast is fresh. The hotel has a front garden where you can smoke. It is close to the beach and shopping shops. Beautiful view from the Lobby.We recommend this hotel

Our 2nd time for a long weekend at the Hen-dy. Tracy and Ian make you feel so welcome, it was great to see them again. Our room was a king sea view and it was fabulous! Bed very comfortable, lovely shower room with very nice soap, body lotion and shower gel provided, great tea/coffee making facilities, big tv, usb points at the side of bed, black out curtains, good hair dryer,lovely big towels. Great choice for breakfast, cooked deliciously well by Ian. Theres a lovely lounge downstairs with an honesty bar which has a good choice of beers wines spirts etc. We had taken our own so tracy provided an ice bucket for us to use! Very kind. We stayed here several years ago but have just been drawn back to return. Ownership has changed hands since our last visit and the improvements are very impressive.Tracey and Ian are outstanding hosts and nothing was too much trouble and catered exactly for our needs.The bedrooms, lounge and dining area are all impressive and immaculate.We will now be returning at least twice each year.

I checked many hotels out and the review's for the Hen-dy was the best it said 9.2/10 so I went with that and the fact that a guest said the full breakfast was the best he'd had, this proved to be true an excellent English full breakfast with fried bread. The cleanliness struck me immediately I entered the room, spotless and on examination the bathroom was as if new. The hosts were very helpful and polite during our short stay and we enjoyed having the honesty bar which was stocked with a good assortment of beers, wines and soft drinks. I couldn't find fault with anything. And I and my family rate this hotel as a 10/10We plan to visit again soon.

From our initial contact to day of departure Ian and Tracey gave us five star treatment. We booked direct with Hen Dy and their approach was friendly, easy and professional, nothing was too much trouble, we were given very clear information and all requests were met with a very can do attitude.Our stay was wonderful.. Exceptionally clean hotel with lovely bed linen and towels, plentiful tea & coffee in rooms, everything has been thought of.The breakfasts offered great choice and were extremely well presented. Our party were offered the opportunity of a Sunday evening dinner which we accepted, this was exceptional and enjoyed by all.Fabulous place, faultless service, highly recommended. We will return.

Our umpteenth visit to the Hen-dy,never disapointed. Parked right out front, our room(2) was ready although we arrived early. Love that room,we've had it a few times. Great view of the prom. Just had a touch up and looks great. Ian and Tracey are a lovely couple and do a great job. Breakfast the first morning (sunday) was very busy,but everything flowed nicely. Breakfast was excellent as usual. God choice of cereals, fruit,yoghurt. And whatever you liked in a hot breakfast.Always full English for me, it was good quality and just enough for the day ahead! Looking forward to returning next year, hopefully get back this year at some point.Thanks guys xx

Fabulous location and great hosts. CalledHen-Dy direct whilst in Llandudno, great rate for 1 night that included a choice of breakfasts.Ian and Tracey go the extra mile tosure your stay is excellent. Stayed in room 5, spotlessly clean with modern decor and Wi-Fi.I can without doubt recommend Hen-Dy, located in a great place opposite the pier,car parking and the town centre easily accessed . My wife and I have stayed in many hotels, guest houses and B and Bs, this is by far the best, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed 2 nights at the hen-dy and was very impressed with the whole standard of the hotel. Our modern room was perfect for sitting in the bay window and watching the world go by. (Nice touch with binoculars in rooms). Perfectly cooked breakfast after the cereal and fresh fruit starter. Booked to go back before we left. Tracey and Ian were the perfect hosts. There is a beautiful lounge with an honesty bar that is open till late.This is probably the best all round hotel we have stayed in out of our 40+ Llandudno stays. We are staying with our friends next time who are quite fussy and I know it will be perfect for them also. Well done and thanks Ian and Tracey. See you next year

Apart from the very "snug" ensuite, we had everything you could want for a short stay from fluffy towels to good WiFi.From the warm welcome on arrival to the excellent attention at breakfast ( which was very good ) we felt very well looked after and really enjoyed our stay.The descriptions on the website are accurate ( room 6 IS small ) so you know what to expect, but even so we were pleasantly surprised and would stay here again.

Really enjoyed our last minute short break. The Hen Dy was perfect - comfortable, clean and spacious room. Location couldn’t be better. We also enjoyed time playing the games provided in the shared lounge during some of the rainy spells. I have not stayed in this part of Llandudno before. But it was a real surprise.The hotel is in a great location. The hotel is very clean, and I was made to feel welcome.Superb breakfast. All in all a great stay.

The Hen-Dy is Llandudno’s hidden gem.Enjoyed our stay and was sorryto leave.The hearty breakfast sets you up for the day. I've stayed at Hen-dy several times with friends and family members because it's an excellent place to stay in Llandudno. Before we found Hen-dy we tried several places in Llandudno but now wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.The location, near the pier, is superb, the place is always spotlessly clean, the rooms are well-furnished and breakfast is excellent, with high quality ingredients and superbly cooked. The owners, Ian and Tracey, are lovely, really warm and welcoming and always very helpful to guests. I can't recommend Hen-dy highly enough. If you decide to stay there you won't be disappointed!

The hotel moved our original date without any fuss, due to us having covid in August. During our stay Tracey & Ian were very welcoming and was always available if needed. The room was lovely and clean and bed was very comfortable. They have a great arrangement with parking your car, either at the front or rear. The morning breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had, and boy have I had some breakfasts. One thing for sure is whenever we need a break in Llandudno, the Hen Dy will be the first port of call.

The hotel and room was immaculate clean and fresh. Modern and comfortable, both owners were friendly, and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice.

Great location, fantastic cooked breakfast, rooms and service are great and Ian and Tracey make the Hen-Dy a place you want to come back to time and time again.

We have recently returned from a lovely three night stay at Hen-Dy, we were made very welcome by Tracey and Ian, the hotel is ideally placed and the view from our room was amazing. The hot breakfast was cooked to perfection and lasted us well until the afternoon!We have really enjoyed our stay.

Just came back from a 3 night break at Hen-Dy in Llandudno. We stayed in Room 5 and there was plenty of room for 3 adults (double and single bed). The bedroom and the rest of the hotel were all very clean and in excellent condition. Wi-Fi was free and worked fine for us. Breakfast was cooked to order every morning using locally sourced good quality ingredients with plenty of options. We also made use of the communal lounge / TV room and the outside seating area at the front. The location of the hotel is also excellent on the North Parade front at the end of the bay near to the Great Orme. The hosts (Ian and Tracey) were welcoming and helpful. Recommended.

Lovely room ,comfy bed and plenty of space. Breakfasts were very good and choice excellent. Very friendly hosts and very accommodating over arrival times and departure times with luggage as we were travelling by train .Only dissapointment was the TV was hard to hear and we didn't seem to be able to adjust the sound. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this to anyone as it was very good value for money

booked on last minute glad we did we had Lovely stay room was delightful nice and big only downside was too many stairs we were on the top floor and I suffer from arthritis breakfast was gorgeous well worth the wait and load to choose from the honesty bar was nice cheap compared to outside and lots to choose from 9/10 will return

I don’t usually do reviews, however, as Ian and Tracy were excellent hosts, I felt the least I could do is say thank you to both of them. Our checkin was quick and we were felt welcomed right away. The room was spacious, very clean and had all the amenities you could want. The breakfast was served with a smile and I can’t recall ever having a better breakfast. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and I will not stay anywhere ekes else when in Llandudno.

Just returned from another wonderful time staying at the Hen Dy, 3rd time this year andcan't wait for our next visit on October. The proprietors Ian &Tracey are so welcoming &helpful. We have stayed in 3 of their room's and all are so comfortable , spotlessly clean & well decorated . Breakfast is a real treat , well stocked with several different cereals fruit juices , yogurt, fresh fruits & much more , then Ian cook's a fabulous breakfast , served by Tracey always with a smile, can't imagine anyone would leave the dining room hungry. Great hosts very friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in was lovely and very comfortable... it was nicely decorated and had plenty of storage/ hanging space and a large tv, the WIFI was amazingly fast! It exceeded our expectations in every way. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice and refills and extra toast offered if you wanted it. The location was great right on the sea front and central to everything. I would highly recommend the Hen Dy.... in fact I already have to friends and family. We will definitely be back. A lovely clean comfortable and friendly B&B. Ian & Tracey are extremely friendly they have a lovely clean comfortable B&B which they are obviously very proud of and so they should be????????. This has been our second family visit to Hen Dy in Llandudno and we have found a gem!(visited Aug 2020 and 2021)Ian and Tracey are so helpful,friendly and made our stay perfect.The cooked breakfasts each morning were stunning and of lovely quality and what a way to start the day with a full belly.We stayed in a triple room (room 5)which was extremely clean,modern decor and a good size for us,ample storage,comfy beds and overall very pleased with the room.Hen Dy is perfectly positioned on the front of the promenade,close to the pier and just around the corner from the town.We were fortunate to have a car parking space,which was handy.Ideal base to visit other beautiful,scenic areas of North Wales.Can see why regulars return each year as the hospitality from Ian,Tracey and Kieron are fab,always taking care of us and making our stay just perfect.Thank you for another wonderful stay and we will see you again for another v

We returned to Llandudno after visiting last year on a day trip. The Hen-Dy was the perfect place to stay - very comfortable, clean and friendly. The rooms are like a home away from home. We will definitely be back in the future.

We stayed for 4 nights (Mon - Thurs), occupying 2 rooms. Myself and my son were in a cosy double and my mum and dad were in a King size, both sea facing. Perfect location for all amenities, local to bars, restaurants but more importantly for my little boy, The Pier and amusements. The hotel was clean, and had a honesty bar in the lounge. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, great selection of items and cooked breakfast was delicious. Ian and Tracey were lovely and not overbearing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering Llandudno and I am sure we will be back as we do love Llandudno.

Hosts very lovely. Breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately no lift. Room 7 was great with lovely sea views. Room 5 was very cold with noisy nightclub.

We all agreed that during our stay the COVID-19 safety regulations was very good and the hospitality was great.

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love it. Tracy and Ian are very friendly , nothing is too much trouble and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is tasty with lots of choice and you can tell they only use the best source of meat from the local butchers!We felt really safe staying here , love the honesty bar and front room with games to play, over all it feels like home- but with the added bonus of no cooking and cleaning :) !We would highly recommend this place, right on the front as well, perfect location!!

This is a lovely B&B we booked last minute and had the room on the ground floor; as stated this had no window; but has aircon; so all fine; in fact you sleep in as no sunlight!Room is lovely; spotlessly clean; lots of room and lovely decor; and a great shower!Breakfast is spot on.Location is perfect,. would certainly return

We arrived as arranged with the owners at around 2.0 pm. All social distancing and masks in place. Ian carried our cases to the room which was absolutely spotless. All newly decorated and furnished to a high standard. The breakfast was more than enough with everything you could ask for. Service was fast and friendly. There is an honesty box in the lounge with cold drinks available, very reasonably priced and we sat on he front terrace on the 2 evenings of our stay. Would strongly recommend you will not be disappointed. Thank you Tracey and Ian for a lovely stay, will definitely come again.

This was our 2nd stay, the 1st being as a family with younger children,this time was myself and oldest daughter. Another fantastic stay at the Hen-dy,warm friendly welcome from hosts Ian and Tracey.Both made our stay feel relaxed and enjoyable, attentive to all our requests.The Hen-dy is in a perfect location for easy access to the town, Great Orme and some lovely local pubs and restaurants.Breakfast is delicious and the poached eggs are highly recommended along with the full English breakfast.Service is made to look effortless and food arrives promptly, cooked to perfection and hot.The rooms are spotlessly clean with comfortable beds providing a good nights sleep. Everything you need is on hand including tea, coffee etc.Perfect bed and breakfast.

Why try the rest, stay at the best hotel in Llandudno, just returned from 4 days staying at the Hen Dy, we had a sea view room , absolutely fabulous, bed was so comfortable we could have brought it home , en suite was very large with bath & overhead shower which was very powerful & water always hot spotlessly clean too. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice of cereal's & fruit , yogurtsfresh juices& cooked breakfast yummy.When the walking becomes to much there's a lovely lounge where you can sit & rest watching the world go by on comfortable sofas or watch TV & enjoy a beer or a glass of wine. All areas of the hotel are spotlessly clean, Tracey & Ian provide amazing service always with a smile , great couple who work very hard & nothing is to much trouble.We have another 2 trips to this fabulous hotel this year & booked 3 trip's for next year , can't wait for September to come , excellent5 ???? plus .

Ian and Tracey were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome, also they remembered our 37th anniversary and left a bottle of red wine and a card in our room. Hotel is close to centre of town and the pier. Comfortable and clean bedrooms with views of either the sea or Great Orme. The staff werefriendly and helpful. Excellent cooked breakfast. The stairs may not suit anyone with limited mobility.

The owners Tracy and Ian welcomed us whole heartedly, they are very friendly and made us feel like at home. The hotel is very clean, tidy and well managed. Our room number 3 is modern and spacious with a very beautiful ocean view. The room also had a pair of binoculars next to the sofa seating area in front of the large window, which we thoroughly used to explore the area. The room is as shown on the pictures.We had breakfast every morning in their relaxed atmosphere, they had everything one requires and the food was tasty and fresh.Parking was important for me, Ian offered their parking space right in front of their hotel, which made it even more convenient for me.I highly recommend staying at the Hen Dy, I wish I could keep this place as my secret spot, but I think that would be too selfish of me. I will be back for sure and look forward to staying here again. I can easily give this place a 5 star rating and value for money is exceptionally good.

Perfect place to stay had no issues at all, b&b is in a great location to everything, room were clean and tidy, food was great nothing at all was wrong.Parking was the only issue and this isn’t the b&b fault at all but they did help us to get a better parking space.10/10 would stay again

We booked this hotel together with 3 other couples. We were all given a very warm welcome from Tracey then went to our rooms which were spotless. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to all local amenities. We made good use of the honesty bar whilst meeting other guests. Breakfast is beautifully presented and very tasty. COVID-19 restrictions are strictly adhered to making the whole experience comfortable and safe. We would all stay here again without any hesitation.

Myself and my sister stay at the Hen-Dy was wonderful, whilst we were on the top in the family room and had 55 steps to climb, our hosts Ian and Tracey could not have made our stay more comfortable, all our luggage was carried to our room and downstairs when we were leaving. We had been warned of the stairs when booking and no lift. The hotel is exceptionally clean, breakfast beautiful catering for my gluten free diet with ease. Also having sent their risk assessment the week prior to assist with Covid rules, everything ran smoothly and we appreciated the care taken, making us feel safe especially on our very first break since a year last March. We also left an item of clothing behind which has been posted on to us. Thank you so much for a lovely weekend and we cannot wait to return a little later in the year.

We had a really wonderful stay at Hen-Dy.Our room, room 3, was truly magnificent with fabulous sea views and beautiful windows with blinds and thick curtains.It was extremely clean and well maintained with plenty of storage space in drawers and wardrobe and with every facility needed including fan (and heater) and fresh milk when requested.The large bed was really comfortable with plenty of pillows and cushions.TV excellent and easy to use and with subtitles.Fresh biscuits each day was a really nice touch.Generally, the hotel was exceptional and welcoming – outside appearance excellent.The lounge and front terrace really nice and comfortable and the honesty bar was a great idea.The bathroom was extremely clean with plenty of towels.The shower worked fine and very simple to use which was great.Breakfast was good quality, tasty food – convenient times and never rushed.Service was excellent and efficient.Plenty of choice, hot and cold – cooked breakfast served hot which was nice.The breakfast room was nice and cool and nicely decorated.Service and staff could not be faulted.The owners went out of their way to satisfy our every need – with a smile too.They made sure we had a personal welcome and departure which we very much appreciated.Parking, totally necessary in Llandudno, was straight forward once you got the hang of it.10/10 for value for money too.

What a lovely weekend we have had in Llandudno staying at the Hen Dy. we were lucky to have booked early and got a parking space in front of the guest house as part of the stay which was so convenient! The location of the guest house is absolutely perfect, short walk to the pier, beach and we had a lovely sea view. We stayed in the family adjoining rooms (9+10) on the third floor which were clean and comfortable, lovely chairs to sit on and enjoy the views. Breakfast was amazing, quick service and delicious. The hen-dy hotel we stayed at for a couple of days was situated on the sea front. The hosts Ian & Tracey couldn’t do enough for us they were fantastic!!!! The hotel was very clean & tidy!!!! Breakfast was great so much to choose from!!!! We had a fillet steak for our evening meal which melted in your mouth!!!! The menu was really great and not expensive at all well worth a visit!!!! We last visited in November in-between lock downs and when restrictions were lifted we headed back for the weekend of 16th-18th April.It did not disappoint, Tracey and Ian, once again,did their very best to look after us with some restrictions still in place.It’s ideally situated to walk around the Great Orme and take in the basking seals and grazing goats along with a walk along the promenade.We will be back when we can.Love the view from the bedroom.Adie and Sara

My mother and I stayed recently for a night at Hen-Dy in Room 3,the room beautifully decorated with a wonderful sea view. The hosts Ian & Tracey could not do enough to make us feel welcome and served us a beautifully cooked breakfast in our room and even went to the trouble of making an evening meal which was delicious as during the restrictions there would only be takeaways open. There is also parking outside the B&B, which is very handy. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and very Covid-friendly. This is a gem of a place to stay, with very welcoming hosts in a fantastic location.

My wife and I had a much delayed weekend break to celebrate our Wedding anniversary and after much internet searching decided to stay at Hen-Dy, it did not disappoint.Ian and Tracey were very welcoming the accommodation was spotlessly keen, ideally located and serving a fab breakfast.The hotel benefits from a lovely lounge overlooking the promenade and is ideally situated for the m ah attractions Llandudno has to over.Very much looking forward to returning.It was just what we needed in these strange times we find ourselves in.

Stayed at Hen Dy for a week. Had the king sea view room. Well i never had to leave the room, view was so stunning you can just sit in comfort with a book & watch the changing scenery. Lovely room small but cosy, the view is the reason we booked the hotel, it is perfectly placed for a all round view of the sea front, we were made very welcome on our arrival, and breakfast was excellent, we hope to be back soon.

Me and my partner were really impressed with this little establishment. Perfect location and the room was exactly as pictured unlike others we have visited. A most enjoyable weekend in Llandudno, from start to finish. Hen-Dy is spotlessly clean and in an excellent position for the beach, pier, shops, and open top bus. The owners are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. From helping us with our cases, providing a parking spot and even produced a birthday candle at breakfast on hearing it was one of our birthdays! Breakfast was beautifully cooked to order and we would definitely return and highly recommend the Hen-Dy.

Room was spacious and immaculate. Friendly attentive service and excellent food. Much better than most of the larger hotels we usually frequent. Lack. of parking and a lift could be a problem for less able guests.

We stayed for two nights and loved everything about the place. We were welcomed warmly by the lovely staff, adhering carefully to social-distancing rules. The rooms were spacious, so comfortable and very clean. The shower was always hot with good pressure and shower-gel provided. The location was also spot-on, right on the seafront near the pier. Finally, breakfast was delicious and generous!This is the place we will stay whenever we visit the area in the future. Couldn't have been better.

We have stayed at the hen_dy 3 times in this year alone, due to the very clean, well presented, rooms, the beautiful reception on arrival and throughout our stay, the food served is freshly made and very hot when it is served. The hotel its on the beach front with beautiful views, this hotel comes very recommended by my husband and I.

We have had a lovely 3 night stay. The hotel is in a perfect location and weHad room 2 overlooking the sea. It was small but modern,very clean and comfortable and perfectly adequate for us two. Having luckily stayed in 2 rooms at the front of the hotel we had fantastic views and spent time watching the world go by (so relaxing). The hotel owners were so kind, the room itself (we had booked the triple room) was comfortable, spacious and very clean. Due to having to leave early in the mornings for our planned activities, Ian & Tracey made sure to pack our breakfasts each day so we would be able to take them with us. The hotel itself is just opposite the pier and beach with lots of great places to eat and look around. In general, it was a pleasant stay and would highly recommend them to anyone visiting.

Brilliant. Tracey and Ian were amazing. From the initial booking and contact right through to the end of our stay.Super professional whilst also being friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room (mountain view) with plenty of space for the 3 of us (2 adults, one teenager). Nice breakfast area downstairs and good lounge area (with well-stocked honesty bar) which we did actually use most evenings as the weather was quite poor during our stay.

Had great few days at the Hen Dy the rooms are clean and the breakfastwas Good, the decor Around the stairs and landing a bit tired but well maintained.Tracy and her Small team We’re wonderful hosts and did everything to make our visit special.Am frequent visitor to Llandudno Will definitely return to Hen Dy.

The hotel was immaculate and the rooms very comfortable. I don't usually sleep well in hotels but has no issues here. The children loved the lounge and enjoyed playing the board games on offer, it was lovely to play and spend quality time with them. The location of. The hotel was perfect, especially if you have little ones, it was easy to nip to the beach and pop back for the loo or a ch age of clothes without completely interrupting the day.I would highly recommend the hotel and the breakfast too, delicious!

The B&B is ideally located right on the promenade in Llandudno.The proprietors, Ian & Tracy, were very friendly and extremely helpful.The rooms (we had 2) are nicely presented and well equipped.The breakfasts are substantial and a great way to start the day.Being right on the front, parking may be a little challenging to find, although there is a long stay car park about an 8 minute walk away.

Just arrived back from a 2 night stay with my husband and 2 teenage children. Absolutely fantastic. Perfect location on the seafront. Welcoming and friendly hosts - nothing was too much trouble. We Booked in for a couple of nights, we stayed in Room 5 with beautiful views over the mountains.Due to the covid 19 restrictions we had to have our meals served to our room, we had breakfast & also fantastic evening meals.Ian & Tracy,have always been brilliant & very welcoming on our previous visits, but this time they went above & beyond.The service & the meals we had were first class, & extra special having them served to our room, nothing was to much trouble for them.We would highly recommend The Hen-Dy with its splendid views of Llandudno bay, with brilliant owners Ian & Tracy they really do make the hotel a real special Gem.

Tracey and Andy were so accommodating. From the moment we arrived, a complimentary gin and tonic was served with a beer. The sea view was outstanding; it’s the prettiest view I’ve had from a hotel! We would 100% recommend staying here and will stay again. A short drive from Zip World too!

We have just had our first break since lockdown and couldn't have chosen a better hotel. Our meals were served to a table set up in our room (Wales still has take away service only) and we ate looking at the best view of the bay in all of Llandudno. My husband and I were well looked after whilst staying at the Hen-dy.Ian and Tracy had every thing organised due to the coved 19,everywhere was sanatised and we had breakfast brought to us in our room they also offered evening meals owing to not many eating places available due to the virus,these were also brought up to us and we're most enjoyable.They don't normally do evening meal so they really put them selves out for all their guest. They are excellent hosts and nothing is to much trouble for them.Have made two more bookings and looking foreward to going back .

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The hotel was in a perfect location for proximity to the sea front as well as the rest of the town. Tracey greeted us as soon as we got there and was very attentive to the social distancing measures they'd put in place. The room (12) was was more than enough space and was well laid out. A table and chairs had been placed in there to support the meals being had in the room. Meals were delivered at the time requested and to a lovely standard. The honesty bar was a great option. We would highly recommend Hen Dy from making the initial enquiry to arriving at the B&B . It was my mums 80th Birthday and all she wanted was a sea view and she certainly got that a panoramic view of the Llandudno Bay . I took a massive balloon and birthday bunting at 8.30 am on the day we were to arrive at 2pm arriving at their busiest time but Ian answered the door ; I was welcomed with a huge smile nothing was too much trouble .The room was spotless , well furnished and super comfortable . Breakfast was delicious local produce .This is a gushing review because Ian , Tracey and Hen Dy. deserve it ! We will be back x

Stayed here for a new years getaway. We stayed in room 11 which is right at the top of the building. Despite all the stairs the view over the rooftops and to the rocks was rather breathtaking and didn't mind not having a sea view room as could open the fire escape door and take in the view to it's full potential. The room was spotless and spacious. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was plentiful. The hotel is in a great location a stones throw from the pier and a few steps from an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. Unfortunately there is no parking here so you just need to take your chances and find a space nearby. Parking is free between 16:30 and 10:00 along the promenade but that does mean we had to hot foot it out early from breakfast to go and buy a parking ticket as the traffic warden starts circling very quickly after 10:00. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and the only small issue is the water pressure - presumably because the room was at the very top so although the shower was ok in the evening we couldn't get any water out of it before breakfast for a quick shower, probably because it was a popular time for all of the guests but I would not hesitate to stay again as this was only a tiny issue.

We had the top floor suite which was fantastic (if in need of a little redecoration, which we understand is in hand). Great Rooms and breakfast was perfect. Our whole Family really enjoyed their stay . The only downside and this is nothing to do with the HEN- DY is the parking in Llandudno we had three cars because there were 10 of us) and we had to try to find spaces on the car park . Then at6 o’clock )in the evening you have to return to put 60p for all night (very Cheap for overnight but you have to be back at 8 o’clock in the morning to put your money in for the rest of the day. I know that people will disagree but the need a multi storey car park as more and more people visit Llandudno it’s so beautiful ????????

The breakfasts were great. We wish Tracey and Ian every success with the hotel. They deserve it. This is our third visit to the hotel but they first under new management. The welcome was as warm as ever. We will return.

We had never been to llandudno before, so didn't know what to expect. On checking into hotel couldn't believe how close we were to the pier and the restaurants and bars. The hotel was clean, the view was fantastic and the breakfast was great. The only downside was parking, if you don't get there early you are going to struggle to get a space. Thankfully Ian gave us his.....

We stayed in the family suite on the 3rd floor with our 15 year old daughter. There was an entrance hall with 3 doors off it that led to a twin room, a double room and the bathroom. The rooms were lovely and the views were fab! Decor was a little dated but furnishings were more modern. Shower was great. Everything was clean. We were welcomed on arrival. The breakfast was lovely, there was a good choice. Ian and Tracey were very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend staying here.

A comfortable room with a view of the sea. No elevator but our luggage was carried to our room on the 2hd floor. No hotel parking but it was arranged to park the car in the rear. Very good food.

The Hen Dy was clean and smart throughout. It was good for families with the interconnecting rooms. The location was perfect and handily we got the last two car parking spaces at the back, I’m not sure how close we could have parked otherwise. My only criticism would be value for money. Comparing to other resorts and properties we’ve used before, I think the price would have been fairer if it included breakfast. Being stung for another £75 on arrival was a bit too much we felt.Other than that, great place with friendly hosts.

My husband and Mum and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hen Dy for a second year running. Our sra view rooms with the big bay window had fabulous views of the sea. Ian and Tracey were so welcoming and accomodating it was like visiting friends as they are so approachable. We did some new things such as tbe vintage coach ride around the Orm which was excellent. Beautiful rooms,situated in one of the best positions in Llandudno.Breakfast lovely with plenty of choice.The new owners Tracy and Ian are lovely always on hand if you need anything.We had a lovely weekend stay there and will be back next year. Just a little tip if you can get a front bedroom you pay a little more but we think well worth it for the views.

We have been visiting Llandudno for many years, and keep trying new hotels. We have always wondered about the cluster of hotels around the pier. We tried Hen Dy last night and in room 2 we had the most wonderful view. The room was spotless and well appointed. We will return soon to enjoy a longer stay and sample the food.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hen-Dy.The family suite was perfect for our family of 2 parents and 2 teens - and the view was spectacular!Best of all, Marie and Fred could not have been more welcoming or accommodating.We loved every minute and wished we could have stayed longer!

We were meet by the owner who showed us to our room and carried one of our bags. We had breakfast in the morning which was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Great views from our room. All was clean tidy and well presented. Great weekend.. we are planning to stay again later in the year.

We loved our stay at the Hen Dy. On our way down we were contacted by the couple to check our parking needs and ensured we had a parking space on one of Llandudnos busiest weekends of the year. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were very knowledgeable on places to eat or visit in the surrounding area. Cannot recommended enough. Thank you!

We had two lovely nights stay at the Hen-Dy in room 2. The hosts Fred andMarie were fabulous. Nothing was too much for them to make you feel welcome and comfortable during your stay. The breakfast was also a bit special and left you well satisfied for your start of the day.. The room was a bit on the small side., but was perfectly adequate. The sea view was to die for.We will definitely return and wish Fred and Marie all the best for the future.

Marie and Fred make sure that the personal touch that they bring to their accommodation shines through at every opportunity. Nothing was too much trouble. The room we were given had a great view, and was beautifully decorated. Bed was comfortable, had a great night's sleep. We can recommend the breakfast!! And the property is in a great position for restaurants, pubs, and to enjoy some easy (or more strenuous) walks. Thanks for everything!

We have just returned after long weekend at Hen-Dy and thanks to Marie and Fred it was a relaxing, quiet and extremely enjoyable one. From the help received from Fred with parking and his great breakfasts to the comfortable beds and clean rooms. Marie was so kind and helpful nothing was too much trouble! Perfectly situated with lovely views it was a pleasure to stay here and is highly recommended!

Very friendly owners made us very welcome. We were a large group of adults so the large lounge with honesty bar was fantastic. We also used the cozy front garden which was beautiful. Hen Dy is ideally located facing the prom. Breakfast was lovely and I was well catered for being a celiac.

Our two nights at Hen Dy was awesome! It felt so warm with Fred and Mary! They were always ready to help us with a big smile at any time we needed! Would totally recommend them! We were greeted warmly and had a very comfortable room, though not great view from the window.Hot and cold running water, tea making facilities, WiFi and a tv. Breakfast was great. Fred and Marie were on hand if we required anything.

Absolutely fabulous stay at, Hen Dy Hotel we loved every minute! The hosts, Marie and Fred, are amazing and the accommodation absolutely second to none! The breakfast, well, what can I say - an lovely array of fresh fruits, juices and cereals, followed by an amazing full cooked breakfast if you like. The room was spotless and had an amazing sea view. The waiting on staff were incredibly polite and attentive, an absolute credit to the Hotel! We also sat in the lounge downstairs and enjoyed the honesty bar!! This is a lovely guest house with the rooms so clean you automatically take your shoes off as you go in the room. Nice small bathroom with clean shower. Basic in the tea and coffee department. No eating in the rooms. Breakfast you could go from full welsh to really healthy - plenty of choice for a simple B&B. Consider booking direct to arrange a parking place as this is more likely to be inlcuded free than if you go via another booking service. Would definitely go back.
